"In breaking free from constraints, I transformed my previously designed headscarves into a form that I perceive as beautiful."

I drew inspiration from the Azadi Tower (freedom) or Shahyad (kings memorial). This specific structure stands in Tehran, pre-dating the Islamic Revolution, serving as a stark contrast to the Milad Tower, where my narrative originates. Milad, meaning "birth" in Persian, represents the current symbol of Tehran and serves as the birthplace of Sheyda. The phallic architecture of the Milad Tower contrasts with the more feminine design of the Azadi Tower.

With the shattering of the mirror, symbolizing the social media lens and the former Sheyda, she can now step into the public eye authentically, free from the need to conceal herself behind scarves or endure the unease of having her photos taken.
It's a subtle yet potent sensation that has the ability to warm the soul.
