"Call Me Sheyda" serves as an auto-ethnographic project for my Master's degree in Fashion Design at Northumbria University Newcastle. This piece encapsulates real-life videos capturing a significant moment in my life, mere minutes before an arrest in Iran. I intentionally integrated this poignant episode into my project, aiming for its inclusion as an unfiltered and genuine piece of ethnographic observation.
The film conceptualises four sets of emotions I have felt throughout my journey.
