I was being distant from everything and everyone that was once familiar. maintaining a serene exterior and a tranquil inner state. No thoughts, I immersed myself in the comfort of my imaginary world.
Having shed all layers of glamour, bedazzles, and the Western ideals of beauty and drag, I aimed to create a scene in stark contrast—a return to an organic, pure, pale, and almost humbling aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from wabi-sabi, a Japanese concept embodying a specific form of aesthetic beauty, this scene seeks to embrace simplicity and imperfection in a profound way.
